Representatives of the Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina on 19 February, 2020 in Sarajevo, attended the final roundtable on "Possible Models of Insurance for the Management of Natural Disasters with Special Focus on Floods", as part of the project "Integrating Climate Change into Flood Risk Reduction", implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) with support from GEF (Global Environment Facility). The project lasted five years and is expected to be completed in April 2020.
The aim of the final roundtable is to present the activities and results of the Project in the development and establishment of models for managing natural disasters with special emphasis on floods, and to receive feedback or guidance from relevant institutions.
Together with representatives of other institutions present, the Agency has provided support for a potential new project under preparation, on possible models for ensuring the management of natural disasters and/or floods in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
